AIDU Celebrates 51st Anniversary with Inspiring Annual Conference

In this vibrant month of April, Aidu celebrated its 51st anniversary. We deeply understand that Aidu wouldn't be where it is today without the trust and support of all our customers. Therefore, for this anniversary celebration, we focused on enhancing interaction and communication with everyone. Apart from inviting 51 customer representatives for an on-site exchange meeting, we also set up a live streaming platform to enable online discussions and interactions for those who couldn't attend in person. Through this approach, Aidu aimed to gain deeper insights into your needs, listen to your feedback, and provide firsthand experience of our latest research and instrument developments.

On April 16th, the emphasis was on learning and exchange. Professor Ge Weizhong delivered a lecture on "Remote Electrode Array-Controlled Electrical Resisitivity Exploration." This innovative technique, which has obtained a patent, utilizes the characteristic design of using the power line as a control line. It enables ultra-deep 600-meter high-density DC resisitivity survey. The technique also employs versatile software for 2D/3D inversion, widely applicable in scenarios such as groundwater exploration, mineral resources, and engineering geophysics.

Professor Ge Weizhong, from Guilin University of Technology, is a senior expert in DC resisitivity survey and the honorary director of the Guangxi Geophysical Society. He has served as a council member of the Chinese Geophysical Society, senior advisor of the Exploration Geophysics Committee, and a committee member of the Environmental Geophysics, Electromagnetic Methods, and Engineering Geophysics. He graduated from Tongji University in 1963 with a major in Applied Physics and was assigned to Yunnan Nonferrous Bureau Geological Exploration Company for geophysical exploration and electrical survey research. In 1981, he joined Guilin Metallurgical Geology College to engage in teaching and research in geophysical exploration. He has led key research projects for the China Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, solving challenging issues related to the effects of resistivity method topography, and has received national scientific conference awards

Mr. Ye Fanghao, who graduated from Clarkson University in the United States, provided a detailed explanation of the "Fundamental Principles and Applications of Geophysical Exploration." He presented the development process and basic principles of geophysical techniques, allowing everyone to gain a clear understanding of the fundamental principles behind water exploration, mineral survey, and engineering geophysical investigation.

Ms. Jiang Xiaorong, the head of the After-sales Service Department, provided a comprehensive introduction to "Instrument Operation and Techniques." She summarized a wealth of practical problems encountered during operations and provided solutions, enabling everyone to learn the correct methods of equipment operation and avoid the risks of incorrect data acquisition due to improper operation.

Mr. Vito Jiang, an outstanding sales engineer of Aidu, graduated from Xi'an Petroleum University. He detailed how the company utilizes the latest artificial intelligence (AI) technology to analyze data from water survey and mineral exploration instruments. This technology enables 24-hour free online analysis by experts and significantly improves the accuracy of graphical analysis. Through practical case demonstrations, everyone experienced firsthand the powerful application potential of AI technology in the field of geophysical exploration.

Ms. Emma Fu, an excellent technical service engineer in the company, graduated from Jilin University and has participated in numerous field hydrogeological surveys. She provided a detailed introduction to the utilization of professinoal softwares for data inversion and 3D imaging and slicing.

Based on her sales and service experience of over ten years in the company, sales champion Ms. Zeng Yuan conducted an in-depth analysis of "How to Improve Drilling Success Rate." She explored various strategies and methods to enhance exploration success rate, covering topics such as basic hydrogeology, instrument selection, and image interpretation.

During the discussion on "Comprehensive Applications of Geophysics and Company's Research and Development Goals," the founder of Aidu, Mr. Jackson Chen, shared the company's future research directions and goals. He promised that Aidu will continue to provide free access to2D and 3D imaging and slicing functions on web pages, mobile apps, and instrument end. Moreover, the company will introduce more advanced products in water survey, mineral exploration, dam seepage inspection, archaeology, and disaster monitoring. The aim is to break the monopoly of international technologies, allowing everyone to enjoy better products and technologies at more affordable prices. This announcement received applause and strengthened the trust and willingness to cooperate with Aidu from customer representatives.

On April 17th, a group of customers were invited to visit Aidu’s research and production facilities. At Aidu 's branch office, Guangxi Aigui, they toured the production line, where every step from product research and design to raw material procurement, processing, product assembly, and inspection is strictly controlled according to the ISO9001 system. This ensures that each product meets the required standards before being shipped. In the warehouse, neatly arranged shelves displayed products ready to be shipped worldwide. Behind each device lies Aidu's spirit of innovation and technological breakthroughs, embodying the company's motto of "Focus and Professionalism, Leading through Innovation."

Since 1973 until 2024, spanning 51 years, Aidu has been dedicated to the research, design, manufacturing, and sales of instruments in the field of underground resource exploration and disaster monitor. In order to improve exploration accuracy and continuously innovate, we have developed five business divisions: Water Exploration, Mineral Exploration, Emergency Investigation, Environmental Inspection, and Archaeology Survey, offering over 300 different instrument models to serve our customers.

Following the visit to our office, the group also toured the Geological Museum of Guilin University of Technology. The museum covers an indoor exhibition area of approximately 4,000 square meters, featuring ten exhibition halls focusing on themes such as the origin and evolution of life, planetary Earth, meteorites and deep space exploration, geological processes, minerals and rocks, mineral resources, geological environment, gemstones, alumni sentiments, and the legacy of geologists.

They also experienced the intangible cultural heritage project in Dongli Ancient Village, visited the ancient town of Xingping in Yangshuo, and took a boat tour along the picturesque Li River to the famous scenic spot captured on the 20 RMB banknote.

Through this anniversary celebration, the connection between Aidu and its customers will grow even stronger, deepening the understanding and application of geophysical technology. Looking ahead, Aidu will continue to forge ahead on the path of geophysical technology, hand in hand with every customer.
